I click things in the game and they either never occur or occur at a very very delayed rate. League of Legends is the ONLY thing affected by this. Any other service I use does not encounter these types of interruptions. For example: I can stream music the entire time without interruption. Before you jump.turning off the music does nothing to fix my problem. Turning off everything else besides league of legends including any background apps does nothing.

What I've done to try to fix the issue: Powercycle Refresh signal to modem Full reset on router. Bypassed the router. Replaced the modem. Replaced the router.

Replaced cabling from modem to drop. Replaced ethernet cabling modem - router and router - PC Comcast has come and replaced the drop. Everything brand new. Levels have been checked multiple times along the way.all technicians claiming they were exactly where they needed to be. I've been in frequent contact with Riot (creators of league of legends).

They've troubleshot to death. They've suggested I use WINMTR and ping the following server IPs. Just moved and purchased their 50 Mbps. Connection is fine, not 50, more like 30- but no surprise there.However with league of legends I have the exact same issue.

Sporadic lag, normal ping75ish, spikes to 750ish. Literally enough to get me killed and ruin plays. Fire skill shots into the nether.My previous place had a much slower century link connection. But never lagged, ever. I've read tons of posts. This issue is all over with Comcast. I think I'd be better off with a 7mbps from century link.

The value in sqlerrtext has no real meaning until you actually attempt to use it in some fashion. Checking it after assigning the dbms attribute serves no real purpose and I'm guessing that the value you see is an artifact (or default) and serves as a reminder in case you do actually use it in some fashion before establishing a connection.Now, if ofconnect fails then you should check sqlerrtext for (hopefully) useful information about why the connection failed.Lastly, as Lars points out, you should be careful about using a local variable for a transaction object as this can leak connections.

I came across an interesting problem that I'd like to share in case anyone else is unfortunate enough to have the same problem. Customer has a large deployment of HP thin client t5740e across many sites. Most of these sites the devices are working fine, but suddenly we found that for some new sites, the performance was really bad. Everything was the same in terms of hardware, drivers, software and Aruba configuration. After much testing and packet captures, I suddenly realised (a bit of a eureka moment) that the devices were showing 2 stream capability, when they only had one antenna.

A raw download test will show up to a 10 fold increase in speed when they use only 1 stream. Changing the ht-ssid-profile to have a supported mcs set of 0-7 was an effective workaround in forcing these clients to only use 1 stream. Driver version 9.2.0.480 from HP also disables the client advertising 2 streams. I tested on a client connected to AP with default config of mcs set 0-23 and indeed they connected showing only 1 stream.
